The white tailed spider

A white tailed spider is an animal that can kill other spiders.

The white tailed spider has a long dark gray body with a white patch at the end.

It has orange  brown bands around its legs.

It has venom. Venom is poison.

It has fangs that can catch its food

White tailed spiders live under bark and plants. They go to dark places  to hide

White tailed spiders can use other spiders webs. They prefer to hunt at night to catch its food.

The white tailed spider catches other spiders and injects venom in them to kill them. Then the white tailed spider eats its food.

Recount Writing: In the weekend

                                           We are learning to spice up our writing 

On a super cold  weekend I went to Auckland with my family. It was a long travel. On the way I saw a huge flood. It looked cold as I said to my mum and dad and brother, “Look at that huge flood.” I said to my mum, “That  was a big one.”

We stopped  and took some photos with our phone. After that we carried on traveling and traveling. Then it started to rain I said, “That looks like big ice cubes.”

We heard thunder.  My mum said, “We are nearly there.” My mum was scared of the thunder. After that we were at Auckland.

The first thing we did was have some KFC! At KFC we ordered some chicken, some chips and we ordered some salad and some drinks.

After that the lady told us to wait for a little bit. Then our food was ready. After that we had a feast. The chips were so spicy.
