                          IHUMATAO

We have been learning about Ihumatao and the land issu. We had to choose a side maori or settler and write how it would of been at the time Here is mine

“You have 2 hours to get off my land” I roared !!!!   

I stood there staring at them. 

I stood tall and proud, gliding across the land. 

You have no chance against us I thought. 

I stared around slowly. I could see loads of soldiers surrounding our land coming to help protect us. 

I could hear the Maori shouting for war. 

I could smell the Maori fear.

Recount writing - My holiday

In the holidays it was my cousin Julius’s birthday. On his birthday we went to Rainbows End. Firstly me and my cousin went to the bumper cars. We bumped each other. That was so cool. The first bump I did was at the back of him. After that I started to zoom away from him because he said, "Oh!!!! I'm coming for you now." Then he started to chase me and I nearly crashed so I turned. When I turned he got me and I said, "Nice play Julius." Then I said, "We should go to the roller coaster." He said, "Yes." We went to the roller coaster. When I got on the roller coaster I started to scream. My cousin laughed out loud at me. I said, "Shush." Then we went to my Aunty Breeze and said, "Can we go to McDonalds please?" So my aunty said, "Yes." So we went McDonalds. After that my aunt said, "Let's go home and eat it.".

The white tailed spider

A white tailed spider is an animal that can kill other spiders.

The white tailed spider has a long dark gray body with a white patch at the end.

It has orange  brown bands around its legs.

It has venom. Venom is poison.

It has fangs that can catch its food

White tailed spiders live under bark and plants. They go to dark places  to hide

White tailed spiders can use other spiders webs. They prefer to hunt at night to catch its food.

The white tailed spider catches other spiders and injects venom in them to kill them. Then the white tailed spider eats its food.
