In the holidays it was my cousin Julius’s birthday. On his birthday we went to Rainbows End. Firstly me and my cousin went to the bumper cars. We bumped each other. That was so cool. The first bump I did was at the back of him. After that I started to zoom away from him because he said, "Oh!!!! I'm coming for you now." Then he started to chase me and I nearly crashed so I turned. When I turned he got me and I said, "Nice play Julius." Then I said, "We should go to the roller coaster." He said, "Yes." We went to the roller coaster. When I got on the roller coaster I started to scream. My cousin laughed out loud at me. I said, "Shush." Then we went to my Aunty Breeze and said, "Can we go to McDonalds please?" So my aunty said, "Yes." So we went McDonalds. After that my aunt said, "Let's go home and eat it.".

The white tailed spider

A white tailed spider is an animal that can kill other spiders.

The white tailed spider has a long dark gray body with a white patch at the end.

It has orange  brown bands around its legs.

It has venom. Venom is poison.

It has fangs that can catch its food

White tailed spiders live under bark and plants. They go to dark places  to hide

White tailed spiders can use other spiders webs. They prefer to hunt at night to catch its food.

The white tailed spider catches other spiders and injects venom in them to kill them. Then the white tailed spider eats its food.

Recount Writing: In the weekend

                                           We are learning to spice up our writing 

On a super cold  weekend I went to Auckland with my family. It was a long travel. On the way I saw a huge flood. It looked cold as I said to my mum and dad and brother, “Look at that huge flood.” I said to my mum, “That  was a big one.”

We stopped  and took some photos with our phone. After that we carried on traveling and traveling. Then it started to rain I said, “That looks like big ice cubes.”

We heard thunder.  My mum said, “We are nearly there.” My mum was scared of the thunder. After that we were at Auckland.

The first thing we did was have some KFC! At KFC we ordered some chicken, some chips and we ordered some salad and some drinks.

After that the lady told us to wait for a little bit. Then our food was ready. After that we had a feast. The chips were so spicy.

In the holidays

On Sunday morning me and my family went to the beach at Opononi.

Firstly we brought our go karts and motorbikes and quads to the beach so we could have fun riding our vehicles on the sand. I was drifting on all of the motorcycles. I was racing my mum and dad. My brother was at the back of me on the go karts because there were two seats. When I was riding my go kart I was going super fast. It felt like I was zooming because I was going fast as. When I was riding I was so happy and proud  and I had a huge smile on my face. It was as bright as the sun at the beach. It was a beautiful day.

My brother was yelling, “Yipeee!”
He was so excited he had a huge smile on his face.

My mum and dad said, “This is the best ride ever.”
We all enjoyed our wonderful day.
I said to my dad, “Thank you for taking us to the beach.”
I had a big big as smile on my face. I was giving a high five to the sky.

I wrote a cinquain poem about Stars.

Persuasive Writing.

I am learning to use the correct structure and language for Persuasive Writing.

I think we should be a bucket filling school.

Firstly I think we should be a bucket filling school because then we would become a kind school.

Everyone would be helping each other.

Wouldn't that be nice?

Another reason I think why we should be a bucket filling school is so other kids would want to come to our school. They would want to come to a safe school where everyone is kind to each other.

Lastly I think we should be a bucket filling school because then we would not bully each other.

Instead of bullying we would be showing respect and care for each other

.So that's why I think we should be a bucket filling school

Explanation Writing. Being Friends.

In the weekend

My dad picked me up on his motorbike and we went zooming pust on kool kids home.

Then we stopped at onkel kols dut on kol wasn't there he wos at work.

So I said to my dad I love my mum and brother and then we went back home.

Then my dad told me to hop off I said to my dad thank you dad for taking me for a ride on the motorbike.

Then we took the kar to on kool Dathis at on kool Dathis I play worth code.

At onkol Dathis I used to code shid we go down the crack and have a swim then code sed yes.

So then we  did some big big bombs down at the crack then we hopped out  off the pool and went to go and hav sum hugin I said to my dad and mum this hugin is yum I said im im this is so so delicious.

My dad took me for another ride on the  motorbike I said let's go go go.

But  the motorbike did a little bit off gear changing so my dad said we kurt go for a ride so we hat to take  the kur home but we had no kiy so we went to makis after makis.

We went shopping we got sum bread and butter            

Bucket Filling - Explanation Writing

WALT use the correct structure and language for Explanation Writing.

Title: What is your text about?	Bucket Filling
Definition What is a bucket filler?	Everyone in the world has an invisible bucket with nice thoughts and nice feelings. When we fill other people’s buckets we are bucket fillers.
Description How does bucket filling work?	If you say nice words to each other then that means you filled your own Bucket and you filled the other person's Bucket too.     Have you filled a bucket today? Fill people's bucket by sharing and listening and being kind and take turns so they will feel good. Another thing be including to others in your game and give someone a smile and be polite and help them because they will feel happy and safe.
Conclusion	If everyone is filling each other's bucket this world will be a bucket filling world and everyone will be happy and safe. When the world is filled with kindness and beautifulness then it will be the best world in the whole world.

Being friends - Explanation Writing

Being friends.

Friendship is one person and another person. Friendship is when they speak nice to each other.     Friendship is caring for each other Friendship is when you care about each other.

Being a good friend means  being friends with someone good friends are nice and kind to each other so that they feel happy and safe.  that they feel happy and safe. A good friend neve bullys each other. Because that is not being a friend.

It’s cool having a friend because you get to have lots of fun with them and you even get to play Rugby with each other and get to play soccer with each other so there is lots of fun that you can have.
